Health and Safety Policy
At Athens Athletics Events, the health and safety of our participants are of paramount importance. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have established the following health and safety policy, which all participants must agree to and adhere to:
-
Participant Health Declaration
-
Every participant agrees and declares that they are fit and free of any health conditions that may put themselves or others at risk while participating in any of our classes, tours, or sessions. It is the responsibility of each participant to consult with their healthcare provider before joining any activity if they have any doubts about their fitness or health status.
-
-
Liability for Health Issues and Accidents
-
Participants acknowledge and accept that they participate in our classes, tours, or sessions at their own risk. In the event that any participant experiences health issues, accidents, or any other incidents during the activity, our company is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred. Participants are encouraged to have their own health and accident insurance to cover any potential incidents.
-
-
Insurance Coverage
-
No additional health or accident insurance is provided by our company for any of the activities. Participants must ensure that they have adequate personal insurance coverage before engaging in any running, walking tours, yoga classes, or SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) classes offered by our company.
-
-
Emergency Procedures
-
In the event of an emergency during any activity, participants must follow the instructions of the tour guide, instructor, or staff member in charge. It is crucial to act swiftly and responsibly to ensure the safety of all participants.
-
-
Pre-Activity Briefing
-
All participants are required to attend a pre-activity briefing where safety protocols, activity guidelines, and emergency procedures will be explained. Participants must adhere to these guidelines at all times during the activity.
-
-
Personal Responsibility
-
Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate attire and using any required equipment correctly. It is essential to stay hydrated, protect oneself from the sun, and follow any additional advice provided by the tour guide or instructor.
-
-
Incident Reporting
-
Any incidents, accidents, or health issues that occur during the activity must be reported immediately to the tour guide, instructor, or staff member in charge. Prompt reporting helps ensure that appropriate measures can be taken to assist the affected individual and prevent further incidents.
-
By participating in any of our running, walking tours, yoga classes, or SUP classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Health and Safety Policy. Your safety and well-being are our priorities, and we are committed to providing a secure environment for all our participants.
